Scotchy Scotch Scotch Whiskies

We've pulled out all the stops for our inaugural curation and put together a real belter of a line up - each one an absolute stunner.

Here's what you'll receive when our first ever order is sent out:

Highland Region - Inchmurrin 18 Year Old

This is a double award-winning Highlander from Loch Lomond Whiskies, with a shockingly fresh nose and palate for such well-aged liquid. Sparklingly zesty,  but the incredible sweet oakiness reveals the true maturity and character. Really a delight and an intrigue.

"An unusual nose of tuck-shop banana sweets and a suprisingly fresh palate of new-make cereal notes. Delightful sweet oak throughout, transitioning to a spicy finish."

Lowland Region - Auchentoshan Three Wood

As the name suggests, this awesome Auchentoshan is aged in not one, not two, but three, yes, THREE different types of wood (American Oak barrels, Olorosso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks). Unusually deep and bold for a triple-distilled whisky, it really defies expectations.

"Sweet bourbon-oaky nose, like someone sanded down a bookshelf with sugar paper. A complex dram we recommend you spend some time with to understand."

Campbeltown Region - Glen Scotia Double Cask

Another award winner from Loch Lomond (World Whisky Awards), this Speyside oozes sweet-spiciness, exploding with flavour, packed with a gorgeous silky mouth-feel. You'll need to be careful not to polish this off in a matter of seconds - moreish.

"Sugar-coated fennel seeds sneak their way in to the nose. Lovely sensual, velvety mouthfeel. Somehow left us wanting sweet, smoky barbecue food."

Islay Region - Bowmore "Darkest" 15 Year Old

Some people say Islays are a marmite whisky, and not for beginners. Some people are just wrong. This Bowmore packs the signature Islay smokiness, but it's no one-trick pony: the smoke simply serves to enhance the abundant character behind. Delicious.

"Scent of an old library; leather bound books and rich mahogany. Burnt raisins on the palate. Fantastic introductory Islay with the smoke subtly complementing the robust dried fruit flavours."

Speyside - Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength

This Speyside gem from fan-favourites Glenfarclas packs a lot of punch, and not least because it comes in at a 60% abv. A gorgeous fruity-sherry lip-smacker that delivers a real hit in every single way. The tasting notes say it all.

"Like going over a fruity Niagara Falls in a sherry cask - punchy, with richly spiced plum, toffee apples and wood. Subtle hints of crème pâtissière blended in amongst the honey and deep notes of burnt sugar."

The Sixth Dram - Island Region - Highland Park 21 Year Old

Our very first "Sixth Dram" is a cut above. Like any well-seasoned performer, it delivers a faultless tasting experience from start to finish that leaves you knowing you've witnessed a classic. Deep, dark, spicy-chocolate-fruity flavours abound, with a complexity that'll leave you enamoured.

"The refined nose says you're about to enjoy something special. The robust, rounded palate delivers. The subtle, smoky finish lingers, as if to ask "Would you like some more?". Gorgeous..."
