Wednesday wishes everyone!
It's another #whiskywednesday here on 25 Days of Drams and Day 12 brings a rather special edition dram: From the English Whisky Co., it's their Diamond Jubilee Bottling from 2012.

Here's Chris with his comments on this beautiful bottle and its contents:
Recap: For each day of the 25 (we're Christmas day drammers here at the Dram Team), I'm going to give a few brief reasons I think each dram is worth your time and attention - which are the same reasons I picked each one to be in our boxes in the first place. And, we're giving away the full set of drams:
Reasons why Chris recommends this whisky:
Reason 1 - Whisky magpie alert! Whisky magpie alert! If you're as much a fan of shiny things as Chris is, then this decanter-style bottle will be right up your street. It is gorgeous, from the intricately stencilled patterning on the bottle, to the heavy-duty stopper. A real keepsake, long after the whisky inside is gone.
Reason 2 - While we have no particularly strong feeling about the monarchy, we do love ourselves some Queenie. She's like having a national Grandma, and that's a very nice thing indeed. This bottling was to commemorate her Diamond Jubilee, which is an impressive feat and well worth a whisky toast, so cheers Queenie!
